E307 - SWEET & SOUR | INSIDE THE HIT YOUTUBE CHANNEL BY DASHVAPES | REGWATCH (LIVE)
Wednesday May 27, 2020
Wednesday May 27, 2020
*Guest: David Praph, Marketing Manager & YouTube Content Creator
How do you get a rambunctious group of disparate vapers to take interest in the ever-disheartening discussion around vaping regulation? The science on vaping is suspect, the news is biased, and public health mostly rejects vaping as a safer alternative to smoking. At times the situation is so bleak, it’s hard to find focus. And trust us, it’s a vexing question.
But the marketing team at DashVapes, Canada’s largest independently owned vaping products retailer and e-liquid manufacturer seems to have found the answer. Helmed by David Praph the company’s YouTube channel has exploded in popularity notching over 400,000 subscribers and 70 million views in just the past three years.
What’s Dave’s secret for mixing the sweet: vaping reviews, comedy, lifestyle; with the sour: teen epidemic, vaping-related lung illness, and flavour bans?

As the world begins to break loose from the totalitarian grip of public health, the enormity of the disaster (created by the hysterical response to the Coronavirus) is becoming tragically clear: Over one billion people in forced lockdown, nearly one-hundred million unemployed, millions thrust into poverty, and trillions of dollars of new debt shackled to the living and generations to come.
It’s a man-made disaster that almost no one saw coming, except for, quite possibly, the vaper.

E306 - INDOCTRINATION? | EDUCATION UNDER THE GRIP OF COVID19 | REGWATCH (LIVE)
Saturday May 23, 2020
Saturday May 23, 2020
*Guest: Dr. Duke Pesta, Professor of English, University of Wisconsin
Even before the Coronavirus pandemic hit, forcing over 50 million schoolchildren in Canada and the U.S. out of class and into lockdown, the strain on North America’s education system was already showing.
Suffering from the pernicious influence of ‘woke’ ideology and a relentless assault on individual achievement, many had wondered if the entire system, K-12 through University, was already broken. With the announcement that 48 U.S. states have ordered, or recommended schools remain closed this academic year, and with the Province Ontario in Canada following suit: What damage is being done to our children’s future under the auspices of staying safe?
In this episode of RegWatch we are joined by Dr. Duke Pesta, a tenured professor of English at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, academic director of the FreedomProject Academy, and one of America’s foremost authorities on the dangers of Common Core.
Armed with his PhD in Shakespeare and Renaissance literature, Dr. Pesta assesses the future of education under the grip of COVID19 and how he thinks the West might prevail.

Saturday May 16, 2020
Is there a winning argument in the War on Vaping? Why is “liberty” a failed argument? How does a fundamental contradiction between “Vaping Saves Lives” and “Lockdowns Save Lives” lead to “the Body Argument?” Why does the future of vaping rely on progressive vapers?

It’s simply astonishing. New studies are showing that current smokers have a significantly lower risk of COVID-19 death than both never-smokers and former smokers when you correct for other variables, including many of the health problems that smoking intensifies. The new science is in addition to several studies released early in the Coronavirus pandemic, which showed a link between nicotine use and the prevention of COVID-19.
What should vapers make of these startling new developments? Could the mantra “Vaping Saves Lives” be extended to COVID-19?
Joining us on RegWatch is Clive Bates, renowned international tobacco control expert and master of the counterfactual. Bates walks viewers through the findings of the new studies and provides his analysis of the potential impact on the bitter battle to ban the vape.
We’ll also dive into the recent teen vaping study released by Dr. David Hammond, the campaign to cap nicotine strength in Canada, and how the predicate “better safe than sorry” may be the death knell of western civilization.

REG CLIPS #12 - NURTURING VIRTUE | BALLAD OF DR. BONNIE HENRY (4mins)
Thursday May 07, 2020
Thursday May 07, 2020
*Get ready to think!
Lurking under the surface of folk culture’s celebration of kind, calm and safe is a dark history of fearmongering to advance state control. Enmeshed with an uplifting melody and progressive lyrics, folk music issues powerful demands on individuals to sacrifice priorities in the name of the common good.
This message is almost always facilitated by the deification of an authority figure: in the case of COVID19, that figure is Dr. Bonnie Henry, B.C.’s Provincial Health Officer.

When you turn on the mainstream media, pop onto social media or just look out your living room window, you’ll find a sea of people who exist cocooned in a bubble of entrenched thinking. Renowned philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche called these people “the herd.” Today, they are known as Progressives.
If you are a vaper, you can’t escape the brutal fact that the war on vaping is a progressive effort to deny you the right to decide what you can put into your own body and how you might choose to mitigate risk.
You believe vaping saves lives: the progressive public health movement simply does not care.
In this edition of RegWatch meet Vicki McKenna, conservative talk radio host and vaping advocate. She blasts common sense thinking to millions of listeners each week and isn’t afraid of taking on progressive forces hell-bent on destroying vaping.
Last September McKenna went to Washington to testify on behalf of vaping at the House Oversight Committee hearing Don’t Vape: Examining the Outbreak of Lung Disease and CDC’s Urgent Warning Not to Use E-Cigarettes. She ended up squaring off against progressive Michigan U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, in what turned out to be a bizarre exchange over vaping and conspiracy theories…
Hear why McKenna fights for vaping and how COVID Chaos is affecting the battle to ban the vape.

Smoking kills and so does denying smokers opportunities to quit. While stark, this message is dripping with common sense and is a perspective found lacking in tobacco control research and public health.
But not all public health systems are bereft of such ways of seeing. The UK has taken a global lead in seeking to capitalize on the potential benefits of vaping as a tool for harm reduction. And a cabal of careful researchers and tier-one organizations have been leading the charge.
Today on RegWatch we are joined by John Britton, Professor of Epidemiology, University of Nottingham, and the former Chair of the Royal College of Physicians Tobacco Advisory Group. In 2016, Britton shepherded to publication RCP’s ground-breaking 200-page report titled “Nicotine without Smoke,” which emphatically stated that the risks of vaping are small and the benefits are great.
Join us for a deep dive into the science on vaping; an examination public health policies on vaping since the report; a hard look at anti-vaping opponents, the mainstream media, and the recent scares over the teen vaping epidemic and vaping-related lung-illness.
And also, for a discussion about COVID19 and its impact on healthcare, the proportionality of the response, and the emerging new evidence that nicotine could have a role in protecting people from the virus.
Don’t miss this episode.
